Free Saturdays

Welcome to The Jewish Museum, the preeminent U.S. institution exploring 4,000 years of art and Jewish culture. We encourage you to visit us throughout the year to view our outstanding exhibitions.

Here is what you may expect during a Saturday visit to the Museum. Visitors will be able to view current special exhibitions as well as the permanent exhibition, Culture and Continuity: The Jewish Journey. For family visitors we have a treasure hunt map to guide you through Culture and Continuity. Print out these pages and bring them on your next visit to the Museum!

The Jewish Sabbath is a day of rest, a special time for spiritual enrichment free from the concerns of schedules, everyday work and commerce. For this reason interactive exhibitions and electronics, the Shops, Cafe Weissman, and the children's exhibition will not be available, and admission fees are waived.

We invite Saturday visitors to return Sunday through Thursday to experience all that The Jewish Museum has to offer. Enjoy your visit.
