2009 Submission Guidelines

From January 14-29, 2009, The Jewish Museum and the Film Society of Lincoln Center will present the 18th Annual New York Jewish Film Festival. The New York Jewish Film Festival offers unique visions of the Jewish experience, presented in a diverse array of international films that range from epic feature films to intensely personal documentaries. There are no entry fees and no restrictions on running time or production year, though preference will be given to recent productions.


Submission Deadline: July 10, 2008 (early submissions strongly encouraged)
Preview Format: DVD or VHS (NTSC preferred)
Screening Formats: 35mm, 16mm, Beta SP, Digital Betacam, or DVD.


SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE:
  • A complete and legible submission form
  • A press kit and/or biographical information
  • Digital stills at a resolution of 300 dpi
Completed works must be in English, subtitled in English, or feature a voice-over narration in English.

No resubmissions.

We recommend that you include a self-addressed postcard if you would like confirmation that we have received your entry.
