View the online journal.

This year, ancient Persia, the site of the Purim story, set the stage for over 500 guests entering the world of Queen Esther’s court, imbued with the mystery, richness and splendor of Persian culture.

Donny Deutsch was the Master of Ceremonies and Sanaz Partovi presented a dance performance evoking the elegance of a Persian palace. The triumph of Queen Esther was re-told in a Purimspiel written by Jon Robin Baitz. The online journal features images of Persian works from the Museum’s collection, with tributes from those who so generously made the gala a great success.
