Summer Studio classes offer middle and high school students the opportunity to experiment with a variety of media and acquire innovative studio art skills in a museum environment. Drawing inspiration from The Jewish Museum’s exhibitions, students discuss ideas, experiment with materials and create their own works of art.
Create, Transform, Evoke
Experiment with photography, sound recording and found imagery to create multi-media collages inspired by the work of Los Angeles-based artist Jack Goldstein, painter, filmmaker and pioneer of audio/sound art. Share your work with the world by creating an online gallery. Explore the exhibition Jack Goldstein x 10,000 featuring evocative paintings, films and installations.
