Sundays are for families at The Jewish Museum. Enjoy a family gallery guide, create art in our drop-in art workshop, hear delightful stories, examine and sketch in the galleries, listen to a children’s audio guide and more. See the listing below for what you can experience on Sundays at the Museum.

Drop-In Art Workshop
1:00 to 4:00 pm
Paint, draw, sculpt or craft a work of art. Please accompany your children in the Bernard S. Schwartz Art Activity Center on the fourth floor during this activity. Open at noon on Second Sundays. FREE with Museum Admission thanks to an anonymous donor.
Age 3 and up.

Storybook Readings
1:30 pm
Listen to stories selected from our library of Jewish tales and other children’s book favorites.
Ages 2-6.

Performances
2:00 pm
Purchase tickets to hear upbeat kid’s music concerts or lively musical theater. Extra charge applies. Check out the Family Calendar for upcoming performances and events
Ages 3-8.

Draw & Discover
3:15 pm
Examine artworks and artifacts in the Museum’s collection. Look carefully at selected works of art and sketch what you see.
Ages 5-12.



Family Gallery Tours & Second Sundays
11:15 am -12:15 pm
Second Sundays offer performances, workshops, family gallery tours, and more. Hour-long gallery tours begin at 11:15 a.m. Each month, a Museum educator explores a different theme with a sketching activity.

NEW! Second Sunday Dig Drop-in

In celebration of our new children's exhibition, our simulated archaeological dig is open for families on the Second Sunday of each month.
