Drop-In Art Workshop
Sundays through May 25
1:00-4:00 pm

Ages 3 and up

Paint, draw, sculpt or craft a work of art inspired by exhibitions on view with different themes each week. The Bernard S. Schwartz Art Studio is located on the fourth floor.

Coming up:
April 6 – Clay Shape Series
Invent unique forms with clay after viewing the sculptures Other Primary Structures.

April 13 – Shape Mobile
Connect colorful shapes using wire and string to create a shape mobile inspired by the forms in Other Primary Structures.

April 20 – Family Day

April 27 – Mixed Media Sculpture
Combine new materials to build a sculpture using foam, wood blocks, paper towel rolls, and cork reminiscent of the artists in Other Primary Structures.

Archaeology Zone: Discovering Treasures from Playgrounds to Palaces

In celebration of our children's exhibition, Archaeology Zone: Discovering Treasures from Playgrounds to Palaces, our simulated archaeological dig is open for families on Second Sundays from September through June.

Enjoy a lively and kid-friendly audio guide with engaging voices highlighting treasures in the Museum's collection.
