Paint, draw, sculpt or craft a work of art inspired by exhibitions on view with different themes each week. The Bernard S. Schwartz Art Studio is located on the fourth floor.
March 9 – Ancient Animal Creatures
Paint an animal from your imagination using crayon and watercolor inspired by Masterpieces & Curiosities: A Medieval Aquamanile as well as ancient artifacts in our permanent collection.
March 16 – Comic Accordion Book
Bring a story to life through bookmaking and illustrate a series of images in the style of a comic strip after viewing the work in Art Spiegelman’s Co-Mix: A Retrospective.
