A distinguished panel will discuss the life and work of Friedl Dicker-Brandeis. As a Jewish woman living during the tumultuous period of the Second World War, Dicker-Brandeis led a remarkable life as an artist, designer, political activist, and finally, as the art teacher of the children in the Terezín ghetto. Speakers will explore her muliple roles as Bauhaus artist, woman artist, and inspired teacher.
