This radio documentary uncovers the hidden history of Eddie Carmel, an entertainer who suffered from a condition known as acromegaly.  Narrator Jenny Carchman, a cousin of Carmel, guides the listener through interviews with his family members and associates.  Partly in response to Diane Arbus's photograph (Jewish Giant at Home with His Parents, Bronx, New York, 1970) of a nameless giant, this sound portrait gives a name to a once anonymous face as it reveals a more complex and personal story.
