The gift annuity is a simple concept. For a gift of at least $10,000 in cash or securities, The Jewish Museum agrees to pay you or a loved one fixed regular payments for life.

Other benefits can include:

• an immediate charitable income tax deduction
• a portion of each payment is received tax-free
• if appreciated securities are used, capital gains taxes will be reduced and deferred

Deferred Charitable Gift Annuities are similar to charitable gift annuities except that payments begin at a date in the future chosen by you. These can be a wonderful method to create a current tax deduction while deferring income until needed.
