When Frieda Schiff Warburg donated the Warburg family home in 1944 to house
The Jewish Museum, she made an extraordinary gift to the Jewish community and
the art world. Both her father, Jacob Schiff, and her husband, Felix Warburg,
had been instrumental in establishing The Jewish Museum 40 years earlier.
The Warburg family played a critical role in both the history and the future of The Jewish Museum. Mrs. Warburg shared the commitment of her father and husband and left a legacy to benefit countless generations. Their gifts remain a treasure for all those who have since enjoyed the creative spirit of The Jewish Museum and the beauty of its surroundings.
We are tremendously proud to have created The Warburg Society to honor the Warburgs and those with the foresight to follow in their footsteps by remembering The Jewish Museum in their estate and gift plans.
As a member of the Warburg Society, you will enjoy benefits that include:
• recognition at an annual Warburg Society reception
• listings in The Jewish Museum\'s Newsletter and Biennial Report
• invitations to special Museum events and programs.
