In his desert series, Gersht filmed on the contested borders between Israeli and Palestinian settlements. Gersht captured changes in the physical landscape as poetic metaphors for changes in the political and personal realms. In Dew, two hours of filming was condensed into three minutes in which dew is seen evaporating from the artist\'s lens to reveal the landscape of the Negev Desert. '; ?>
