Preceded by excerpts from the 1964 LP "How To Be a Jewish Mother" with Gertrude Berg.
Introduction and post screening discussion with: J. Hoberman, senior film critic for The Village Voice and guest cocurator of Entertaining America. His books include Bridge of Light: Yiddish Film Between Two Worlds and The Red Atlantis: Communist Culture in the Absence of Communism.
