More than 900 guests filled the Park Avenue Armory on February 27, 2013 for Purim Ball 2013 Who Wears the Crown? Designer David Stark transformed the Armory Drill Hall into a dramatic balloon landscape. Filmmaker and actress Lena Dunham, creator and star of HBO’s Golden Globe Award-winning series GIRLS, headlined the gala’s program as Purimspieler. Nearly 400 young patrons enjoyed a lively after-party with a DJ and dancing. The virtual journal features many wonderful tributes from those who so generously helped make the gala a great success.
