ART WORKSHOP

HOT PEAS 'N BUTTER
CELEBRATE HANUKKAH!
CONCERT

From 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, enter the world of comic art in this special family workshop. Join illustrator Jeff Hopkins on a tour of Masters of American Comics, and see original art from Superman to the Fantastic Four. Think about heroes and heroines in the world around you, and design your own personal comic strip. Ages 9-12.

At 2:00 pm, sizzle and shake to the multicultural music of Hot Peas 'N Butter (as seen on Noggin). Enjoy funky twists to Hanukkah favorites. Led by Danny Lapidus and Francisco Cotto, this musical mix-everything from Puerto Rican folk to American blues-will get everyone in the family groovin' to a delicious beat. For age 3 and up.
