Second Sundays
Characters and Cartoons

Second Sundays offer performances, workshops, family gallery tours, and more. Hour-long gallery tours begin at 11:15 a.m. Each month, a Museum educator explores a different theme with a sketching activity.

November 11: Characters and Cartoons
Encounter Shrek, Sylvester, and other familiar children’s book characters as you explore From The New Yorker to Shrek: The Art of William Steig.

December 9: Objects That Shine
Encounter oil lamps, Hanukkah lamps, and other works of art to celebrate the Festival of Lights.
