Educator Workshop
From Jackson Pollock to Andy Warhol: Understanding Modern Art

In conjunction with two exhibitions, Action/Abstraction: Pollock, de Kooning, and American Art, 1940-1976 and Warhol’s Jews: Ten Portraits Reconsidered, educators will examine extraordinary examples of postwar American art as diverse as Jackson Pollock’s large-scale drip paintings and Andy Warhol’s iconic portraits. Hear a panel of seasoned museum educators discuss how to make even the most enigmatic works of art accessible to a wide range of students.
