Photography and the Art of Man Ray

In conjunction with the special exhibition, Alias Man Ray: The Art of Reinvention, this workshop explores the groundbreaking photography of twentieth-century artist, Man Ray. Educators survey the wide range of his photographic works including portraits, botanicals, and rayograms—images created by exposing objects on a photo-sensitive surface to light. Following a presentation, participants will tour the exhibition and consider Man Ray’s photography in relation to his paintings, objects, and films.
