Create colorful collage tambourines inspired by Passover objects in the Museum’s collection, using bells, patterned papers, wire and more.

Baby Loves Disco 60’s Dance Party

Dance to a mix of classic 60’s and disco tunes inspired by the late 1960’s sculpture on view in the Other Primary Structures exhibition. Shake your feet to spirited tunes in honor of Passover, from Bob Marley’s Freedom Song to Matisyahu.

Reboot’s Beyond Bubbie Project

Craft collage books to playfully illustrate favorite recipes and memories from the Passover holiday.
Founded in 2002, Reboot is a non-profit group dedicated to re-imagining the cultures, traditions and rituals of Jewish life.

David Grover & Grover’s Gang Concert

Groove to multi-award-winning David Grover’s catchy folk sounds with songs that celebrate freedom such as The Matzah Song, Go Down Moses and Man Come Down to Egypt.

Freedom Sculpture

Collaborate on a freedom sculpture inspired by art work in the Other Primary Structures exhibition on view. Sculpt with cardboard, found objects, yarn and more.

Giant Word Poem
Join together on a giant word poem to express thoughts related to the Passover theme on a large panel using writing, found words and magazines.

A brief tour highlighting objects in the collection related to Passover including a sketching activity.
