Ticketed Workshops

Enjoy an in-depth gallery tour and art-making experience on a Sunday morning as a family. Examine art and artifacts on a particular theme and then create a work of art inspired by your gallery experience. These programs are a two hour session held on a Sunday.

Animal Puppetry in Paper

Ages 6 and up


Inspired by the eco-friendly artistry of the Paper Bag Players, create your own fanciful shadow puppet with the Jukebox Radio puppeteers. Find intriguing animals in the Museum's collection like lions, birds and a kangaroo, and create your own unique character.

Painted Adventures with Curious George

Discover the amazing story of Curious George creators Margaret and H.A. Rey, who fled Paris on bikes in 1940 with drawings of America's favorite monkey in their luggage. Tour the exhibition Curious George Saves the Day and create your own watercolor painting inspired by a personal journey or story.
