Adult Studio Workshop

Tracing Modigliani

Classes

Wednesday, December 9, 2020
1 – 2:30 pm
Zoom

In this two-part remote-learning workshop, revisit the Jewish Museum’s past exhibition, Modigliani Unmasked, and trace the evolution of a prolific modern artist’s hand. Explore a variety of drawing techniques, such as line, contour, and shading, to create a portfolio of sketches inspired by work from the exhibition. Instruction will involve a combination of live drawing activities, at-home exercises, and discussion of completed drawings in a small group.

Participants should have access to a computer with a camera and Wi-Fi, and will receive a Zoom link prior to the program date.

Please note that this is a two-session class, meeting on December 9 and December 16. Ticket purchase is required and includes both sessions. All skill levels welcome.

This workshop is at capacity. To be added to the wait list and receive advance notification about future workshops, please email studioprograms@thejm.org
