Adult Studio Workshop

Drawing Connections: Portraits at Home

Classes

Wednesday, February 3, 2021
1 – 2:30 pm
Zoom

This program is at capacity. If you have questions or would like to receive advance notification about future programs, please email info@thejm.org.

In this two-part remote learning workshop, create a series of self-portrait and portrait drawings at home using a variety of techniques — including line, shadow, silhouette, and abstraction — inspired by works of art in the Jewish Museum’s collection. Participants will receive detailed instructions and exercises in advance of each class session. Class sessions will take place on Zoom, and will involve discussion of completed drawings in a small group, along with a live drawing activity.

Participants should have access to a computer with a camera and Wi-Fi. Please note that this is a two-session class.

Ticket purchase is required and includes both sessions.

$25 Jewish Museum Members; $30 General
