Learn suminagashi, the Japanese style of marbling, and create unique patterns on wearable silk in this daylong in-person workshop taught by artist Sheryl Oppenheim. Participants will draw inspiration from fashion designs on view in Mood of the moment: Gaby Aghion and the house of Chloé during a private exhibition tour, and will then spend the day learning suminagashi—initially learning on paper before using the technique to decorate silk scarves in the second part of the workshop.

All materials are included. All skill levels are welcome. There will be a lunch break at 1 pm.
