Explore mosaic artworks from antiquity to modernity and create your own original mosaic with hand-cut glass tiles in this three-session workshop led by artist and educator Hollie Ecker. Participants will learn about a variety of mosaic methods and techniques, and will also have the opportunity to visit the Jewish Museum’s collection galleries while they are closed to the public, drawing inspiration from works on view. Mosaic projects will be developed through clearly outlined steps and in-depth technical instruction over the course of the three studio sessions.

All materials included; all skill levels welcome.

Please note that this is a three-session workshop. Ticket purchase includes all three class sessions on May 8, 15, and 22.
